Swedish massage is the foundation of modern bodywork. It uses five specific stroke styles—long gliding, kneading, rhythmic tapping, friction, and vibration—to manipulate the soft tissues for total systemic relief.

Effleurage (The Glide)

Continuous, long-flowing strokes that follow the contours of your body. This technique warms the muscles and initiates the relaxation response in the brain.

Deep Tissue focuses on "fixing" knots with intense pressure. Equilibrium focuses on "resetting" the nervous system with long, fluid, rhythmic strokes.

Come as you are. You will be professionally draped with a soft sheet at all times during the session to ensure your total comfort.

If possible, yes. Reducing caffeine intake 2 hours before helps your nervous system drop into a relaxed state much faster.

Yes, Swedish massage is wonderful for prenatal care. Please just let Nathalie know how far along you are when booking.

It is encouraged! Falling asleep is the ultimate sign that your body has shifted into "Rest and Digest" mode.

Absolutely. While this is a relaxation-focused modality, Nathalie can adjust the pressure to your specific preference.

This is your time. If you prefer silence to unplug, that is perfectly fine. If you feel like talking, Nathalie is happy to listen.
