You will likely have circular marks on the treated areas. These are NOT bruises. They are just signs that stagnant blood was pulled to the surface. They usually fade in 3 to 7 days.

Drink Water

Cupping flushes out "gunk" from your muscles. To help your body get rid of it, you’ll need to drink plenty of water for the next 24 hours. Think of it as a internal rinse.

Tender Skin

The area might feel slightly warm or tender, almost like a mild sunburn, for a few hours. This is normal—it means fresh blood is rushing in to repair the tissue.

Total Lightness

NATHALIE’S TIP: Keep the treated areas covered and warm. Avoid cold showers, swimming, or very cold air for 12 hours. Your muscles are "open" and prefer to stay cozy while they recover.

01 — The Look

No. A bruise comes from an injury. These marks are just old blood and "gunk" being pulled to the surface so your body can finally flush it out.

Usually 3 to 7 days. If you're very hydrated, they fade faster. If you're very tight, they might stay a bit longer the first time.

Surprisingly, no. They might look dramatic, but the skin isn't usually sore. Most people forget they have them until they see a mirror.

If you have an event (like a wedding), let Nathalie know. She can use "moving cupping" which gives the relief without leaving the circles.

02 — The Feeling

It feels like a tight "pull" or a stretch. It’s intense but should never be painful. Nathalie can adjust the pressure instantly if it feels too strong.

Nathalie slides the cups over your skin while they are still attached. It feels like a deep-tissue massage roller and is great for large tight areas.

It's not "better," it's different. While massage pushes down, cupping pulls up. Combining them gives your muscles relief from every angle.

We offer 60 or 90-minute sessions. The 90-minute is best if you have a lot of "stuck" areas that need both massage and cupping.

03 — The Rules

Try to wait 24 hours. Your body is doing a lot of "cleaning" work after cupping, so it’s best to let it rest and recover.

Cold air or water can make your "opened" muscles tighten up again. Keeping the area warm helps the blood stay moving and healing.

If you are on blood thinners, have very thin skin, or have a fever, we should stick to a gentle massage instead.

For chronic pain, once every 2 weeks is great. For general maintenance, once a month keeps the "stuck" feeling from coming back.
